Privacy Policy

• Account: name, email address, authentication data.
• Career content: résumé text, career answers, uploaded documents, and any materials generated on the platform.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We store subscription status, plan, and renewal dates — never your card number.
• Usage: device, browser, and interaction data for security and product improvement.

To operate and improve the Executive Career Intelligence platform, generate your career materials with AI assistance, process payments, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account.

We do not sell your data. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate: hosting, payments (Stripe), email delivery, and AI providers who process your inputs to generate deliverables. Each is bound by contract.

We retain your career content while your membership is active and for a window after cancellation so you can reactivate. Retention works in three distinct layers:

• Career content — résumé, answers, opportunities, generated documents and their PDFs. Deleted immediately and permanently when you delete your account from your account page, or when you ask support to delete it for you.
• Records we must keep — payment and subscription records, and records of legal agreements you accepted. These are retained for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, with your name, email, and account identifier replaced by a non-reversible reference so the record survives without identifying you.
• Operational telemetry — security, rate-limiting, and system-reliability logs, retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. IP addresses are stored only as keyed one-way hashes, never in plain form.

Deleting your account also stops any future subscription renewal. It does not refund amounts already paid.

You can delete your account and career content yourself, at any time, from your account page. You can also request access, correction, or export by emailing support@knownandbuilding.com.

We use industry-standard controls — encrypted transit, row-level database security scoped to your account, and least-privilege access.
